Cyber Apprentices

A group of S2/3 pupils visited ATOS Forres this morning with Mr McCrow and Skills Development Scotland to learn about the opportunities for training and employment locally and internationally in the rapidly growing cyber security sector.  They learned from three current employees about their different routes into work via the apprenticeship programme and were given a demonstration of how one security engineer uses DarkTrace software to monitor and protect client networks and data from ATOS’s Forres technology centre. Charlie was delighted to be able to quiz Mr O’Donohue, Head of the Moray Development & Innovation Centre about ATOS’s work with delivering the Premier League’s fixture lists and critical IT applications for the summer and winter Olympics.
