Silver medals galore at Scottish champs!

3 pupils from Grantown Grammar were down at Grangemouth Stadium yesterday to take part in Scottish Disability Sport’s Athletics Championships.  The pupils were representing Highlands after performing exceptionally well in Inverness a few weeks back.  Charlie (S3) smashed his personal best in the softball throw with 17.24m and picked up a silver medal in the process. Iona (S4) won silver in the 100m in a tightly contested race.  Rona (S6) competed in the softball event and threw a massive 16.34m to pick up a silver medal.  All three pupils were very supportive of each other throughout the day and also showed their support for fellow Highland athletes.

Well done Charlie, Iona and Rona – you were all superb!
