Cairngorm Planning for a Sustainable Future

As you maybe aware, and as advertised in the Strathy, there are a series of community consultation events coming up for the Cairngorm Mountain Masterplan:

Cairngorm Estate, publicly owned through Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), is both an environmental and economic asset for Scotland.  With the mountain of Cairn Gorm at its heart, the estate is a key national attraction, helping to underpin a range of businesses in Strathspey and Badenoch. But is it fit for the future? If you have views on how best to enhance the mountain’s role in sustaining local communities and developing the area’s economy, we want to hear from you. Your suggestions could be vital in shaping a new Cairngorm masterplan, to be published later this year. There will also be opportunities to submit comments online – details will follow soon.

PLEASE COME AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OUR TEAM FROM THREESIXTY ARCHITECTURE AND JURA CONSULTANTS AT ONE OF THESE OPEN DROP-IN SESSIONS:

GRANTOWN GRAMMAR SCHOOL Tuesday 11 February 4.00 – 8.00 pm

KINGUSSIE HIGH SCHOOL Wednesday 12 February 4.30 – 8.00 pm
