Purple is the colour selected by LGBT Youth Scotland for this years campaign and Rainbow represents the various colours of Pride flags. If you would like please bring a donation which will be collected on the day.
Please can we ask that the second payment of £150 is made for the upcoming trip. As with the initial deposit can we ask that money is paid electronically by bank transfer. Details of the school account can be found on the initial payment letter. If there are any issues please contact the school.
Many thanks to all those who have made the second payment.
Today pupils have been given a letter regarding the upcoming Battlefield/Disneyland Trip.
This letter contains details of the 1st Deposit as well as upcoming dates for payments. The letter also contains details of staff who are going on the trip.
If a pupil is absent they should come next week to collect a letter from the school office.
Today a letter was handed out to pupils detailing the proposed trip for October 2023.
If a pupil was not in school today but would still like to be considered please see Mr Abenheimer to collect a letter.
The permission slip must be returned to the school office by the end of the day on Friday 24th September.
Handing in this permission slip does not guarentee a place on the trip but means that parents/guardians are happy for their child to go through to the selection process.
All pupils should know if they have a place before the school breaks up for the October break.
The North of Scotland Universities Collaborative Project will be hosting a number of events this autumn supporting school pupils from across the region in thinking about future careers and pathways. We will be hosting 11 events this autumn, including information sessions for students interested in careers in Medicine, Healthcare, Business Studies, STEM, Rural subjects and subjects relating to Veterinary medicine. We will also be offering UCAS, personal statements and parent/ carer sessions.
Pupils can register individually for as many events as they’re interested in. Our first event is a Parent and Guardians session on Tuesday 14th September.
Reminder that all S1 pupils can come into school tomorrow in their PE kit. It is looking like a nice day so dress appropriately. They will be participating in some team building and leadership activities as part of the sessions. Pupils should attend their timetabled classes and will then be taken to the sessions when it is their turn.
On Wednesday you will take part in some team building activities during your PSE lessons (1RN will go during your History time with Miss Macdonell). Report to your timetabled classes and your teacher will take you outside. You will be allowed to wear your PE kit ALL DAY so please come appropriately dressed.
