Grantown Grammar is a unique school which sits in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. ‘Age Pro Viribus’ is our motto, which means ‘strength in action’ and this is at the core of Grantown Grammar School.
Our aim is to ‘work hard and play hard’ which translates as working towards the best possible attainment for all pupils and also placing great value on wider achievement and extra curricular opportunities.
Grantown Grammar is a Centre of Excellence for Outdoor Learning and has recently been recognised by Sport Scotland and Highland Council as having the best Outdoor Education Provision in Scotland for a state school. Our ethos of challenge, resilience and teamwork is at the centre of all we do.
Each year, we work together to produce our School Improvement Plan. Outlining what we currently do well and what we need to continue to improve.
