Grantown Grammar School pupils have amazing opportunities to visit many exciting and interesting places. All of the residential trips, provide valuable social, cultural, sporting and educational experiences.
Parents, carers, friends and family are openly invited to attend the Music and Drama performances held in the school throughout the year. They showcase the incredible talent of our pupils and tickets are available through pupils or from the school office.
Snowsports trip – Serre Chevalier, France
2 – 9 January 2021 ** Now re-scheduled to 8 – 15 January 2022**
Staying at The Clubhotel Frejus in Serre Chevalier, France. We will have six days of downhill skiing or boarding, four hours of instruction from ESF instructors each day; lift pass and hire of equipment (supplement for Board hire); full board; all flights and transfers from the Airport; après ski activities, for example bumboarding, quiz nights, swimming, disco and ceilidh.
Please note that there are additional costs for some pupils;
- Snowboard/boots hire: £50
- Ski bag carriage (for own skis/board): £50 (cost can be shared between 2 pupils)
- Air Passenger Duty of £13.00 per person will apply to all paying passengers aged 16 or over at the time of travel.
- Adult lift pass supplement (for students aged 18+) of £140.00 per person. We are unable to avoid this additional cost for pupils over the age of 18.
