Pathways Planning and Initial Options

This week pupils were planning their Learning Pathways and starting to make decisions about what their potential options could be.  To do this pupils needed to complete:

  • My World of Work Website – This allows pupils to look at actual careers and understand what qualifications you need to get into these fields.
  • Pathways planning sheet – This lets pupils plan out their qualifications through school from S3-S6 (if required)
    • All pupils were given a paper copy.  An electronic copy is available through the google classroom.
  • Initial Options – This allows pupils to make initial decisions about the options they would like to take and highlight any clashes or subjects that they were unable to take due to the column structure.
    • All pupils were given a paper copy.  An electronic copy is available through the google classroom.

All pupils have been asked to work through these resources making sure they discuss their options with Parents, Carers, Teaching and Guidance staff as required.  All elements of the Initial Options Google Form must be completed by Friday 25th February.
